The Schinderhannes cycle route follows a former railway line between Emmelshausen and Simmern. Over roughly 38–39 kilometres you cycle through beautiful Hunsrück countryside – ideal for leisure cyclists, families and e-bikes.
Along the way you will find old railway stations, viaducts, rest areas and information about the famous outlaw Schinderhannes, who lived in this region.
