The house is very large, with a wonderfully spacious living room and a really beautiful bathroom. The bedroom has a lovely bed. The kitchen is a little dated, but it had everything you need. The area around the house with its two terraces is also very nice.

Three of us stayed here with our dog for a week.
The accommodation is very spacious, well equipped and clean. As it is in a small village it is very quiet, yet Kastellaun is only a few minutes away for shopping or eating out.
The tenants upstairs are available locally as contacts and are very friendly.
For our next stay in the area, this apartment will be our first choice. We can only recommend it.

The house is in a beautiful location in a quiet village with plenty of opportunities for walks and hikes, making it easy to explore the lovely Hunsrück. Some of the appliances in the house are a little dated (cooker and oven), but everything works perfectly and everything you need is provided. If you bring a lot of your own things, there is also plenty of space to store them.
Finally, Gerd, Irene and the people upstairs are friendly and helpful. This is a great place for a lovely holiday.

There were a few problems with the booking and all sorts of things went wrong. But they were very creative in finding solutions so that we could still come.
The house was super clean and, in terms of layout and equipment, we literally lacked nothing. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone. I spent a few wonderful days here with my family. The bathtub with its “disco lighting” was a particular hit with the children. Thank you very much :).

We spent two weeks on holiday here and really enjoyed our time. It is wonderfully peaceful, with great opportunities for hiking or cycling. Supermarkets are easy to reach by car. For us it was the perfect oasis of calm. It is also a great experience with a dog. If possible, I would give more than 5 stars. It was very clean and the facilities were truly excellent. The kitchen had everything and more. Gerd is also a great, friendly and accommodating host. Communication was easy and quick. We felt completely at home and can only recommend it. We would gladly return and would have preferred to stay :-)

From the very first moment we felt incredibly comfortable in this holiday apartment and would have preferred not to go home at all. Its quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac immediately helps you switch off. No noise, no hustle and bustle – just peace, relaxation and pure rest. Exactly what we were looking for.
The apartment is on the ground floor and is very generously laid out. Everything feels open, bright and welcoming. We were particularly impressed by the cleanliness. You immediately notice how much care is taken to create a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. The entire apartment is furnished and decorated with great attention to detail without ever feeling cluttered. It does not feel like a typical holiday rental, but more like a cosy home.
Despite outside temperatures of 33°C, it stayed pleasantly cool indoors, which was especially welcome at night. We used the two large terraces every day – for a relaxed breakfast in the morning, simply unwinding during the day or ending the evening in peace.
The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Everything you could need is there, and even more besides. Plenty of crockery, glasses, cooking utensils and accessories – it is clear that everything has been thought of.
We also really appreciated that dogs are welcome while everything was still absolutely spotless. Not a single dog hair or any odours; instead, the whole apartment had a fresh, pleasant scent.
The bedroom is very large and beautifully furnished. The box-spring bed was a real highlight for us – large, cosy and with very comfortable, back-friendly mattresses. We have rarely slept as well or as restfully as we did here.
The bathroom is also exceptionally spacious and modern. The oversized shower with rain shower was simply wonderful, and the large bathtub for two was perfect for relaxing after a long day.
Another highlight was the wine cellar. It is very well stocked and offers something to suit every taste.
Most of all, however, we remember the sense of peace, comfort and warmth. The hosts, Irene and Gerd Schneider, are incredibly friendly, warm and easy-going. You feel welcome immediately. For us, this holiday was perfect in every way – a beautiful holiday apartment with a great deal of heart, where you feel at home straight away. We will definitely be very happy to return.

Highly recommended! We spent a wonderful week here during the May holidays. Spacious house, large garden, very quiet location on a cul-de-sac right beside flowering rapeseed fields. Good beds. The new, spacious bathroom is larger than it looks in the photos, with LED lights that can be set to different colours for a “disco shower” :-) Bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants in Kastellaun are about 10 minutes away. Nice walks in the surrounding area.

We spent a wonderful week here and it was exactly what I needed at the time – a holiday away from the hustle and bustle in a peaceful place, yet with every comfort. Thanks to Gerd we were surrounded by care; everything in the apartment had been thought through down to the smallest detail – from automatic lighting and wonderfully warm floors to small touches such as hooks in the right places, coffee and a coffee machine, crockery and towels, soap and so on. This is one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. The beds are comfortable and new, the apartment is large and bright, and everything around it is green. The apartment smells as though it has just been renovated. Koblenz is a 30-minute drive away, there are several castles nearby, and restaurants and shops are 10–15 minutes away by car. Parking nearby is free. We were looked after by a lovely, friendly lady who lives close by. Thank you very much; we felt completely at home.
